Job Description:

1. The candidate should be a BE/BTech graduate from any recognized university
2. Analyze product requirements, create test plans, and identify deliverables
3. Execute testing tasks, isolate problems, report bugs, and regress and close bugs
4. Write test status reports and escalate issues as appropriate
5. Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements
6. Work with development and test engineers to identify and automate test cases
7. Maintain and write new automated Test Scripts using Java, Perl, Python, Selenium, API and/or in house tools
8. Write data-driven, white box/APIs test automation
9. Define, execute and interpret complex/nested SQL queries
10. Determine appropriate number of test cases and iterations and to apply risk-based testing concepts
11. Strong customer service attitude and eagerness to solve problems
12. Self-starting team player with positive attitude who is detailed, thorough, organized, and has a proven ability to prioritize and scope work
13. Hands on experience with Selenium and automation
14. Good at Unix commands and should be able to write Shell/Perl Scripting
15. Hands on Selenium Experience is really an added advantage
16. Experience in SQL on any major database
17. Ability to apply “critical thinking” to solve problems
18. Experience with white-box or gray-box testing
19. Solid working knowledge of Web Applications
20. Must be team-oriented yet be capable of working with minimum supervision
