Job Description:

1. The candidate should be a BE/BTech graduate from any recognized university
2. Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
3. Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
4. Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
5. Working along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
6. Working with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features
7. Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
8. Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
9. Optimizing performance for the apps
10. Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
11. Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
12. Attend industry events/ conference – both attending and presenting

Desirable skills:

1. LAMP development experience
2. PHP frameworks (e.g. Zend)
3. PHP template engines (e.g. Smarty)
4. Creative design skills
5. Working with a content management system
6. Working in a media/ publishing environment
