1. The candidate should be BE/BTech graduate from any recognized university
2. Unix and Scripting knowledge are also added advantage
3. Certifications - CCNA an advantage
4. Should be following a degree with direction towards networking and core subjects showing that direction
5. Should show good problem solving skills and be able to work under pressure
6. Strong verbal and written communications skills
7. Network Routing Protocols/Firewalls/Routers/switching
8. Wireless - Cisco Wireless Cotrollers
9. WAN Technology - Frame Relay, Basic ATM configuration, MPLS
10. Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as Cisco works, MRTG, Netcool, Solar Winds, Cacti
11. Others - SNMP, TACACS, RADIUS, Fibre Knowledge, TFTP, Image Upgrade
