Job Description:

1. The candidate should be any graduate from any recognized university
2. Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent experience, and 0-3 years of related experience. Preferred: Degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or Computer Science
3. Responsible for writing and revising feature, command reference, and configuration guide documentation for Cisco software
4. Responsibilities include writing and other special projects
5. Research, write, and revise complex technical documents according to established standards
6. Work with editors and technical resources to improve document quality and usability
7. Ability to identify the complex information needs of a target audience and follow appropriate documentation plans
8. Thorough understanding of technical writing concepts
9. Ability to create complex technical documents
10. Ability to work well in a team
11. Understanding of networking technology (desirable)
12. Experience with XML and content management systems (desirable)
