Job Description:

1. The candidate should be a BE/BTech graduate from any recognized university
2. Good knowledge in core VAS nodes technical operations
3. Hands-on on trouble shooting of VAS product and services, preferable of Ericsson VAS products
4. Good knowledge Unix(RHEL, Solaris), Scripting ,  TCP/ IP protocols, IP Routing
5. Good knowledge of Telecom networks, protocols and interfaces (GSM, CDMA, GPRS, as defined by 3GPP / 3GPP2)
6. Hands on exp on Proxy/Wap Gateway, SMSC, Transcoding engine, MMSC , Voice and Video Messaging, IMSM OMA simple based messaging, NMS, other value added enablers like DRM, Single Sign-on, etc
7. Knowledge on - XHTML/ WML/MYSQL/ XML/WBXML Parsing & LDAP/SOAP Web provisioning
8. Security, AAA and relevent protocol knowledge like SSH, HTTPS, inc RADIUS, DIAMETER
9. Understanding on trouble shooting of Operating Systems (OS) , Database (DB) & HW Platforms like HP blade servers, Load Balancer ( F5) , IP switches
10. Experience with Veritas Volume Manager & Veritas Cluster Service  along with other clustering concepts like NAS, NFS, Storage, EMC
11. Sound know-how in charging systems and billing system
12. Sound knowledge of Packet Switching network
13. Good verbal & written communication skills
14. Good team-leading and intra-team coordination skills
15. Ability to work under stressful situations, meet tight deadlines and deliver services with high quality
16. Operation management capability and should be aware about ITIL V3 processes
