Job Description:

1. The candidate should be BE/BTech (Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering) graduate from recognized university.
2. The Specialist I, Help Desk and Desktop is responsible for providing dedicated technology infrastructure support to business units. The role is focused on the day-to-day operational execution and is 100% transactional and represents the IT support team.
3. Should be the eye of the IT support team; report issues and insights to the supervisor 10%
4. Collaborate with other tier IT teams for fast resolutions of incidents and requests 20%
5. Coordinate the activities of the help desk with other system areas. 20%
6. Learn and contribute by going through documentation for all new and old desktop applications in Encore. Enhance personal effectiveness by keeping a tab on latest desktop trends. 10%
7. Provide quick and efficient technical support without disruption to business flow. 20%
8. Troubleshoot and provide tier 1 / 2 support to all users. 20%

Required Skills:

1. Knowledge in MS Office and Windows and Internet Explorer
2. Relevant systems (Windows), Ticketing solution, remoting tools
3. Follow guidelines, identify and resolve problems
4. The candidate should be speak in English fluently
5. Preferred Qualifications for ITIL or CCNA or MSA and Experience with Service
