Required Skills:

1. Mandatory Knowledge in Core java (with oops fundamental)
2. Thick client development - Swing, etc is desirable
3. Relational databases - ORM concepts (Hibernate/iBatis) and SQL queries (postgres) is mandatory
4. Java Server - Exposure to IOC Containers/Dependency Injection/Spring/XML/XSLT/XPATH 
5. Web Development - Java Server side/Client side
6. Exposure to Java EE specifications and constituents like JTA/JTS, JMS, Any form of distributed architecture like (RMI/EJB/CORBA)
