1. The candidate should be a BE/BTech graduate from any recognized university
2. Knowledge of software development or software quality assurance methodologies
3. Exposure to automated testing, software programming, or software scripting is required
4. Strong written and spoken English communication skills
5. Develop test cases and test plans and execute tests
6. Install and configure software products on various platforms
7. Take ownership for performing software testing of a given functional area
8. Develop and maintain test automation
9. Report software defects and track quality assurance metrics such as defect counts, test coverage
10. Communicate status effectively to management
