Job Description:

1. The candidate should be BE/BTech (Electrical and computer engineering) or equivalent graduate from any recognized university
2. The domain of test design will be developed and implement of functional tests for new and existing ADTRAN products.
3. And focused on learning and developing professional concepts within test design engineering
4. The candidate may design or assist in the design of digital and analog circuits, simulation, and debugging. .
5. May generate test procedures, implement test hardware, and automate tests in C++ and  research fiber-optic technologies, wireless communications, and/or additional innovations as applicable to ADTRAN products.
6. The candidate should obtain the knowledge of ability to fault isolate product failures to the circuit and component level, and to guarantee adequate test coverage in a high-speed production environment.
7. Prompt and regular attendance is required in order to ensure quality workflow.

Required Skills:

1. Experience in C/C++ object-oriented programming, standard debugging methodologies, hardware design, software version control tools, communication test development tools
2. Knowledge in basic communications technologies Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, ATM, switches, routers
3. Knowledge of telecommunications carrier technologies (DSLAM, xDSL, DS1, DS3, SONET, SDH, EoCu) is preferred.
4. JAVA and Perl experience is a plus.
