Job Description:

1. The candidate should be BE/BTech graduate from any recognized university
2. To work collaboratively with DBAs, data scientists, and analysts to insure that the data needs of EA are being met.
3. Help script, maintain, and create automated processes for pulling and reporting data
4. Drive improvement in our methodologies, systems and processes
5. Be actively engaged in assigned products and develop a deep understanding of game mechanics including gameplay and economy
6. Have a deep understanding of large data, our data structures, and how to manipulate our data in an efficient manner

Required Skills:

1. Large data sets should excite this person
2. Strong analytical skills and facility with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, formatting)
3. SQL knowledge a must
4. Experience with BI and statistical software (Microstrategy, Tableau, R, etc.) and Hadoop a plus
5. C++, Java, HTML 5, HiveQL knowledge a plus
6. Passion for gaming, understanding of free-to-play game mechanics in social and mobile games
7. A desire to learn new methods in data mining/manipulation
8. Background in statistics, software engineering, data mining, database administration, or other quantitative disciplines is highly valued
