Job Description:

1. As an Associate Engineer you will be responsible for development engineering of the Red Hat Storage product.
2. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, preferably in client/server architecture, algorithm development and should be creative, team-oriented, a quick learner with good interpersonal skills and driven to produce results.

Job Responsibilities

1. Deliver a high quality product that is extensible and scale-able within the specified time line
2. Identify product/quality requirements and potential improvements
3. Participate in the complete software development life cycle
4. Debug and resolve any field issues
5. Document consistently throughout the development/quality process
6. Review, to the extent possible, changes in code and the environment that will affect system performance

Required skills

1. Must have extensive working knowledge of C, C++, Make files
2. Excellent data structures and algorithm skills
3. Operating systems and Unix internals skills
4. Knowledge of Free and open source software development concept and methodology
5. Ability to multi task while ensuring quality of work
